I have noticed these past couple of months that Ric and I are already on a very different level. Before, we used to be all sweet, over flowing with so much love, happiness, patience, understanding, etc. - no arguments, no debates. The pain and tears we had were all from just missing each other and wanting to be together (breaking the physical distance) and all that. But now, we've moved in to reality.

The same love, happiness, patience, understanding, respect, and longingness are still there - in fact, there's more of all those. But, I must say that we've moved in to the reality of a true life-long relationship. These past couple of months were filled with all those but we have a number of arguments that caused us to hurt each others' feelings. We've cried together, raised voices at each other, we said hurting words to each other, but all these were caused by the same pain we've always had - the longingness to be actually together. The thought of physical distance kills us every so often.

However, after every debate, we realize that we love each other more and want more of each other. Our arguments make us want to be with each other more. This is because we know that when we are already together, we would be able to handle issues better. We know that it would be a lot easier to stop hurting each others' feelings if we could just hold each other in our arms, look each other in the eye, and remind ourselves how much we love each other.

Yes, we truly are in a different level in our relationship now. This is so, because we, now, know that this time around we are really fighting for a love relationship that we want to keep for the rest of our lives. The 'honeymoon' stage is over. But, there will surely be another honeymoon stage once we get past this battle of trying to break the physical distance between us. After this phase in our life, I pray that the rest of the time we'll be spending in this lifetime together will be one grand and life-long honeymoon stage.

I've said this so many times before - and I'm saying it again ... I've never loved any other man in my life as much as I love Ricky and I am absolutely enjoying the feeling ... I always will.
