It's been two weeks now since the last time he slept here in my room. That was the night before I saw him off at the airport to go back to California. I am missing him so much. Every minute of each day that passes, I think of him. I wonder if he's doing fine, if he has had anything to eat yet, if he's tired from work - or just anything.

His last vacation this year was better than last year's. This year, he was able to meet my family - the whole family. I'm glad that they all enjoyed being around one another. He asked for my parents' blessings and my father responded to him with, "Yes! You have it!", even before he finished his sentence. He also got along well with my brother & sister. He even got to hang around my sisters room to watch T.V. with the kids. My mom had some questions to ask; she was the one who had the most concerns on all of this. Nonetheless, she still agrees to this relationship that Ricky and I share and she's very supportive of our plans.

He also has met my high school friends. Those friends of mine are my friends who I seldom see but we see to it that we have dinner together every once in a while. They've been my friends for 18 years now. They're already like my sisters. Based on my observations, I feel that they like Ricky for me. Whew! It's funny because I was even more worried about their reactions rather than my family's. But that doesn't necessarily mean that my family's say on this relationship is not important. Don't get me wrong - of course, it is the most important factor off all.

I'm just glad that everything went well for us.

It's another long wait, though. We won't see each other again until December (2006). That's another 5 and a half months from now. Oh! Words cannot express how excited I am to spend Christmas with him for the first time.
